"Wolly," as we have been referred to by college students for generations, is a church located on the beautiful campus of Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA.
We are Unique.
We come from all over Quincy and the larger Boston and South Shore communities But we are also college students who have arrived on campus from all over the country and the world. We are college students who are 18-22 years old who will only attend our church for four years, but we are also babies, kids, teens and adults. Some of those adults are long time members who have been worshipping and serving together for up to 70 years. We are a culturally diverse congregation reflecting the diversity of our dearly loved city and the colleges diverse student population.
We are Partners with ENC
We love Eastern Nazarene College. Many of us have been shaped in some way by the ministry and community of ENC. But the church is not officially connected to the college other than a shared vision, denominational background, and partnership in ministry to college students.
We are not operated by the college, but are a fully self-supported church with all of the ministries and outreach of a local congregation. As such, we seek to reach not only to the college campus, but to our community as well.
We are Motivated by Mission and Vision
We are committed to the biblical mandate to make Christ-like disciples. We are trying to make more disciples and better disciples. Everything we do endeavors to lead toward that mission.
A good picture of what it looks like for us to be successful in our mission is when you see us loving God and loving people. If we're doing that, with God's help, we are on target.
We are the Church of the Nazarene
We are part of a larger, global, network of churches called, "The Church of the Nazarene." The Church of the Nazarene is the largest denomination in the classical Wesleyan-Holiness tradition.
We are Available for You
If any of this sounds like it resonates with you, we hope you'll connect with us. We think the best way to explore that is to attend a worship service on a Sunday morning or Thursday night. Our sanctuary is handicap-accessible and air-conditioned. Join us. We think you'll sense God's presence and the love of His people like we do.
